Allergies

Before I moved here in the US, I have no allergies – be it on food, airborne ones (dirt, dust, pollen, dander, etc). After living here for 3 years, I started exhibiting symptoms of allergic reactions to pollen. Last year, I always have a runny nose during the end of winter and the beginning of spring up until the middle of summer. Now, I think I have full-blown allergies to pollen. My head hurts, I keep on sneezing and my eyes are watery. I already took Advil this morning as I have to work, and we have dinner plans with my co-workers later. Advil did take care of the headache but I can tell that my nose is still red and itchy and my eyes still water. They even think I cried hence my reddish and puffy face. My boyfriend suggested to start taking anti-histamine and to make an appointment for allergy testing. It’s not a bad idea, plus my insurance will cover it.

I hope so too. The last thing I need is to be cooped inside the house when the weather is good when I just spent majority of the winter inside already.
