Embarrassing moment

Oh my gosh!!! I went out to by some groceries , while I was walking down the stairs I fell , and did the thud thud good thing I was able to finally get a grip of the bars beside the stairs. As I was going down the stairs , I can see that all eyes were on me ??but life must go on, I stood up as if it was nothing and went out of the store. If it were you would you called up the attention of the store manager? Or simply walk away as well if still can hehe.... I am not sure if it was due to my clumsiness or the stairs arw simply at fault ? But I am glad I did not endure any injury , my butt is just a bit sore and tomorrow I will probably feel the fatigue from the adrenaline rush.

At the age of 80 I would probably still be on the stairs!!! Glad you weren't hurt!

It happened with me too lol. I just got up and laughed it up. And made my escape as fast and as discreetly as possible...

I dont believe we could escape the walk of shame hehehe.... But still we were able to get up and walk straight.

They probably look to see if you need help. Most people will feel sorry for you, and worry about you. Do not need to feel embarrassed about it. If you do not get up, someone will call ambulance while others will attend to you.

Hahaha but I wished someone approached me to make sure Im ok from the store staff. But what was done was done.

Yeah it feels awkward when all are looking at me. But I wont call anybody if I can still walk. It will be more awkward for me to get more attention. Glad you didnt get hurt bad. Be careful next time

Hahaha true, I think so too. Its just an additional hassle on my part but at the same time maybe if I did call the manager then they could make sure that the other shoppers will be safe from falls.

I am sorry to hear you fell. Was it because it was slippery? It depends on the situation - if I am hurt I'd notify the manager because you wouldn't want anyone else to fall and hurt themselves too.

@dazzledlady That sounds awfully unsafe for people who are much older to walk on steps that aren't wide enough. I am glad to hear you're alright and not hurt very badly.

A good point. Well the steps were not wide enough . I wouldnt let the store go if I did hurt badly.

Hahaha, the earth always try to eat me up by making me fall hahaha!!!!. But I made sure I rise up everytime I fall.

I fell in Goldwaters store in Phoenix a number of years back and they were thee thrusting a wavier under my nose before I could get to my feet, I was seven months pregnant I refused to sign the paper and Mr.Gold water surprised us by paying for my doctor bill when I delivered. nice gesture I did not sue them It was just an accident.
