I am going to the hospital now for my PTPA examination. I had a higher than normal result 2 weeks ago that is why my cardiologist revised my Coumadin dosage.
For nearly 2 years my dosage of 2.5mg Coumadin did not give me problem with my PTPA result; only 2 weeks ago that it went up to 4.25mg/dl. That is why my Monday and Thursday doses are changed to ½ of the 2.5mg tablet, and the rest of the week, I take 2.5mg of warfarin.
I asked my cardiologist if my occasional intake of green leafy vegetables (those mixed with dishes like mongo) caused the rise of my PTPA, but Dr. RG said there may be other reasons.
Well, I hope the result now will be okay with more of my dietary restrictions which I self-imposed.
How about you, my friends? Do you impose dietary restrictions for your health or sickness?
See you later!

@ridingbet So does it mean those green leafy veggies can make your blood sticky?

@SIMPLYD yes, but I am now refraining myself from eating these green leafy vegetables. I am taking Terraferron so my hemoglobin level will get higher level in my blood.

PTPA is Prothrombin Time and Prothrombin Activity. It examines if my blood clots quicker than normal, or not.

getting scared should make us more serious with our own health; glad you impose your own food intake

Does it mean that those green leafy veggies make your blood thinner ?
