mouse problems with mylot menus...

I'm having problems with the drop down menus on the new mylot... When using my laptop... when I put my mouse over my name or follows, but, the drop down menu list dissapears when I move the mouse to click on the function I want... I am using xp... anyone any suggestios ? @myLotBugs... can you help.... ? I am not having any of these problems on my tablet... and i'm not very technically minded..., so do not really know where to begin.... Other than this little problem I like the new look of mylot...

I still have a Windows XP installed on one computer and I tried to see if I can reproduce the problem. It works on my computer.

I'm glad ... I can see that only a minority of people are having a similar problem.... so that's good... but i hope someone can help me make it right....

I cannot think of any logical reason why this should happen. The only suggestion that I can think of at the moment is to leave the mouse over the heading such as username or Follows etcetera and use the tab key to move down the menu.

I get the idea that the mouse is going outside the range of the menu (black part) and could benifit from a usb mouse maybe? They work well on laptops and not very expensive.

@sueznewz2 You can tag or send a pm to myLotbugs. The menu is suppose to disappear when you move your mouse off it because there is more than one menu's.

@Bluedoll the menu disappears as soon as I move the mouse pointer off Follows.... How do i get in touch with mylotbugs....??

bless yer heart, that's gotta be most frustatin' :( i'm still'n windows 7 'n aint run into that trouble thank the stars. hope somebody can get'cha fixed up with'n answer soon. perhaps @DaddyEvil 'r one'f the other puter guru's 'll chime'n givin' their expertise. big hugs!

Thanks @crazyhorseladycx it is.. very frustrating.... how do we get in touch with the help department ... I included myLotBugs in the text... but they have not commented yet .. the help page has not got a heading for technical problems... can I private message owlings or @DaddyEvil.... ?? thanks for your suggestions.... big hugs to you .... No, my old desktop uses XP and I am having no problem using it here. (I don't LIKE using it here, so only ran a quick test with it, but had no problems on myLot other than that dad-blamed aggressive cookie! Now I have to de-bug my old desktop! It caught the cookie!)

@sueznewz2 Susan? I apologize. I forget I am still talking to someone who doesn't know me. You are more than welcome to any real help I can provide and you shouldn't be sorry I caught that cookie. I KNEW it was here, so risked my desktop with full knowledge that it might catch it. I was willing to risk my desktop because I dislike leaving anyone in the lurch with programming issues. You are not the first and will not be the last person I will risk catching a bug while I am trying to ascertain the parameters of their problems. (I will gripe, but am not directing said gripe at the person I am trying to help.)

@sueznewz2 The main reason why I haven't gone out and bought a new tablet is because they all have windows 10 loaded on them, and I'm not looking forward to using that browser. I love my windows 7.

It is a bit sensitive on the new site, but works well enough on both phone (touchscreen) and laptop (touchpad and keyboard).

@sueznewz2 YOU have reported it, and so have I. I don't follow Hatley either, so didn't realize she was also having this problem. If getting off IE fixes this for you, please tell Hatley about it. Thank you!

I notice sometimes when I try to drag down on the menus, the items disappear. It doesn't happen all the time, just once in awhile.

@sueznewz2 no I haven't reported it as I have a similar problem on other sites too. I'm sure it's my tablet at fault. I probably need to update some programme or other, Adobe or something.
