Today is Polar Bear Day.
The polar bear is the world's largest carnivore.
They can weigh 1400 pounds and grow up to 9 feet.
Do you know what 6 different countries of the world they live in?
Want some tips on how to celebrate today.
Go to your local zoo to see the polar bears or check the nature channels on TV and see if they have any programs on polar bears.
How will You celebrate on this Polar Bear day?

Such a cute picture. I've seen my fair share of polar bears at the zoo and seaworld.

How wonderful that must have been and to be able to see the polar bears at any time, I imagine they were very popular at seaworld.

Yes. I had a year passes to the zoo and seaworld for multiple years. The polar bear section was one of my favorite exhibits to visit.

THey sure get big don't they? Takes a lot to feed them too. How to celebrate this day could be doing something for the animals in some way.

they are very big and I image they do eat a lot. That would be a great way to celebrate this day by doing something for animals.

How can you celebrate it? I wouldn't have a clue.
They are beautiful animals though. I would love to be cuddled by one if I wasn't scared of them tearing my head off haha

I kow it would be a hard day to celebrate. Tearing your head off would be a challenge to not have that happen being hugged by them. lol

That is awesome and i really feel deep in my heart that they have to be conserved, but i do not think they would like or even survive in our hot country, just the same happy polar bear day and pray that countries that have them appreciate what God had given them

Knew there was a polar bear day but didn't know which one it was. These cute but surprisingly formidable creatures are still poached and their numbers are dwindling. They are close to being endangered. Awareness about protecting them should be spread.....
