A Poem...just to write one

I was looking for a type of peotry to write and found a form called the "Lay" . The form was described as "long" but didn't say how long. Also, I could not find any syllable count requirements. The form was described as "narrative" which I guess means it's meant to tell a story. I just wrote this: ~*~ Writing is what I like to do With some counted cross stitch, too Each day I try to help Mom a bit Whenever she should happen to need it. Trying my best to live for the Lord And walk the narrow path by His accord. By the grace of God I am who I am Giving glory to Jesus the Lamb. ©Stacey Uffelman 2-17-16
