The Suggestion Box

They have put a suggestion box in the housekeeping department that we are supposed to use to give ideas on how to make work go smoother this summer. Last summer we worked some really long hours to get everything done and they want to make it easier and more efficient for us. I've been thinking about what I want to write and came up with a couple of ideas that I think are good. Not that they will do them, but hey, they asked! On heavy check out days let us work in teams. A team per floor. Working together we could clean more rooms and even have time to vacuum the hallways, etc. Have someone empty the dirty linen from the carts, take the trash and put on a new trash bag. Having to throw linens down the chute is time consuming and leaving a huge pile on the cart is unsightly for the guest. Someone to restock the carts so a person can keep working without having to go downstairs for new supplies.
