we work in 24/7. I am sure we cannot function well as normal that it should be. In my opinion, it is not possible to consume all the energy in working 24/7. You are like a walking human that looks for unhealthy lifestyle. Imagine working 24/7 with an intravenous fluid attached to your body. It supplements the needed fluid to your body. In logic way, it is a suicidal way to live with too much monetary in the pocket. We may think that it is so impossible, but it does happen for some. If that person is below the poverty line, he or she will take the risk.

@abrielle28 I think the sleep cycles in every individuals are different. For some people, they can still keep on going to work. As long as the health will not be compromised.

That is crazy to think people will even work 24/7 all the time. We need relaxation time and family time not just work, work, work all the time.

@Shavkat Yes, it does happen for some people. No it is not healthy to work all the time as we do need to relax at times.

@Marycyaz I agree. However, it happens for some people. I cannot just interfere with their own lives. I do think it is not healthy to work all the time and without relaxation in between.

i wont last for sure if its an on-going thing. sleep is such a big deal for me. i get headaches whenever i try to fight my sleepiness. but ive tried working over time before, approxiamately 20hrs. but that was just once or twice. it was needed anyway for the team's monthly score goal.

@Shavkat even though its money and the work is not stressful, i would have to say no.

@MGjhaud I also will not have the energy if having an overtime work straight one week. It is better to have enough sleep.

The doctors in the hospital may be working longer than that. Some of them are working 36 hours shift. When the patients are all sleeping, they may rest for a while.

@scheng1 I am not sure about this. I think working in the hospital is in shifting schedules. It could be for those doctors on call.

You are right. A 24/7 job will do you more harm than good (even if you have your pockets full with money). You have to give yourself a break from the load. Take a breather, sleep restfully, eat the right food at the right time, take a real bath, etc.!

@KnehKnah Whatever the reason why some people do this, I respect that. But then, we should still need to love ourselves.

Working 24/7 is a difficult task since we all need a break in bw rlse our health will be effected adversely. But ya when we are determined enough to do something then we don't even realize how much time we had taken to complete something because we get so busy in finishing it.

@shubhu3 I guess it is fine to work hard. However, our health will be jeopardized and we cannot able to work hard eventually. I think we can balance our workload.

Some people work as much as they have to when they have families to support.

@jstory07 This is also another story. Parents have all the reasons to work hard for the sake of their family. I had seen this a couple of times.

even robots need to be given rest periods so the oils will not drain and the machines will not stick together.we have to rest, and I think there is no such thing as "working 24/7"

@Yar_Joey I do salute you on this. We are not created to be as like robots. We are the one who should control them.
