Heart beats fast. I feel hot and i know i am turning red. Not that i am caught red handed, but it was something about my memory or anything for that matter being questioned. I know much was on the budget since i took my office, know when the increase happened or projects that were made. When three person listed on the payroll asked me why they just have that, i told them, there is no increase; that the budget was meant for one more employee. They keep saying about why there is no increase, that it has been two years since the last time. With that, i said no, you are wrong. Their salary increase was last year but they keep on telling me that it was the other year. No matter how much i tried to correct their thinking, i was just. Ugh! So, i took out the files and review the past three years. Guess what? I am right, they are wrong. Proving myself that my memory is still working great, felt better. Still my anger hasn't subsided. Going to post the payroll tomorrow. That my self affirmation is more important than their apologies. For i know they are not good with saying sorry. Have you ever had that feeling of wanting an affirmation of what you said?
