Arriving before you leave

Japan

When you travel from the East (for example Asia) to the West (for example the US)... of course when you are traveling East is what I mean but when you cross the international date line you are suddenly in the West. If I travel from Japan to the West Coast, I get to live a day all over again. If I go to the Midwest, I arrive a couple of hours after I left, having been in a plane for 14 hours. But it is still the same day! I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner twice the same day! Of course you lose a day when you travel West (and arrive in the East...). As we all know from myLot, we are all at different points in the day. How does this affect you? Have you ever had an almost 48-hour day, or not known when the New Year began because you were flying? (I left in 2014 and landed in 2015. That was weird.)

I think that sounds wonderful, I bet many of us would like to relive a day and even if we are exhausted we got to have a few unexpected hours in our life. I usually lose time by traveling to Europe lol

It is amazing how time zone is so different for everyone! I never flew anywhere more than 48 hours.
