The Walking Dead has LOST Easter Eggs?

I found this curious from the first time I noticed it them in The Walking Dead, last season. I was a huge fan of LOST and took note immediately of The Virgin Mary Statue Scene. I have found this curious further, near the end of the season where past characters returned in that one episode. I won't explain where, how or why for those of us who may not have seen yet and want to. However, having both of these elements staring me in the face leaves me to question why these are there. I was a fan of LOST and I know the outcome which again I will not explain here. Yet, I find it curious that TWD has made reference to this long ended show in the same season past characters pop up later in the season. Sort of makes you wonder if there is a specific connection between these shows. Has anyone else noticed this and wondered the same thing?

you mean old zombies popped up on a later episode? i cant tell for once haha.. they all look the same to me all the time.

@indiandevil oh.. well they all have to make a living most probably they appear to both. i dont know for sure cause i dont watch Lost series.

@MGjhaud Oh, no. The Characters from Lost aren't in TWD. TWD just has made reference to Lost. I find this curious because knowing the plot and outcome of Lost, I'm seeing slight similarities between the two plots.
