Time to get organised

Today is going to be a busy one. It is a warm and sunny day and certainly one that will divert my attention from what needs to be done to what I would prefer to do, which is to read a book in the sunshine and drink copious cups of coffee accompanied by chocolate biscuits. I'm going to share my intentions in the hope that knowing you know, will strengthen my resolve. I have two lots of washing to do, around a dozen rose bushes to prune, weeding of a flower bed and a dinner to cook. All this before 1.30p.m. so I shall close on an optimistic note and get on with it.

Rather you than me. It's 11.30am here in Spain and it's already too hot to be out on our balcony. So I'm having half an hour here inside mylotting before moseying on down to the seafront, where we my get a nice breeze. It's a hard life!!

No I didn't, after the work was done we were invited over to some friends for a game of backgammon. Xo it is 11 pm and this is the first time I have signed in since this morning...

I hope you got your chores done in good time. Sometimes I set myself a time limit on a job. It seems to help for some reason.

Thank you Anne, I almost did. The first lot of washing did not dry in time so I have the 2nd pile to do tomorrow. The roses look in better shape and I am so pleased that I did the weeding around the olive tree where we sit and drink our coffee. up to now we have looked at the roses and the weeds needing our attention. Tomorrow we will just sit and enjoy the coffee.

have fun on your garden. speaking of, my mom needs another reminder to clean up her garden, i can only see mess in there.
