The Craziest Moment I Had

When I was teenager way back in high school, my friend and I went to the town proper. We are in need of buying some school supplies for our project, while walking along the road; one of the sole of my shoes slip off. Oops! I can't go on ambulating, the people in the town and my classmate saw it, too. I just stand still and my cheeks are blushing with embarrassment. The only thing I could do is to ask a craziest favor, buy me a pair of slippers. My classmate was so kind enough to purchase the slippers for me. I don't hate about what had happened, since the pair of shoes were given as a gift. As far as I know, it can also happen to other people.

i had an almost the same experience. i had one doll shoes, and there was a stainless inserted in the sole so it would stay flat. i never noticed that its sole was getting thinner and thinner so one day i was walking in the office, the stainless slipped out from it. good thing no one saw it.

@MGjhaud It is a good thing that no one sees you. For me, it is so embarrassing if someone saw it.

Yeah, it happened to me too. And when we got it repaired the repairman reminded us to use it all the time so that it will be known if it's tough or not. I've experience it twice.

@Letranknight2015 For some reason, I used to buy a pair of shoes that is sewn in the sole part. I think it is the best way not to slip off when worn out.

Recently I was at a client's house when the sole of my shoe caught on something and part of it peeled back. She didn't have any glue so I had to cut off the part that was dangling. When I got home I glued it back on. Now I have to purchase a new pair of shoes. I guess it is time.

Yes, it happens to all of us. It is more embarrassing if you are a working adult in metro Manila, and the sole comes off when you are rushing to work. The embarrassing part is that you dress well for office, but you have to carry your shoes in your hand.
