Today we will have a top your tater meal, or as some people call it, a potato bar.
I have baked potatoes I made yesterday to use this week. For available toppings we have on hand chili, sour cream, onions, bell peppers, cheddar cheese, broccoli, bacon bits so we have lots of choices.
Some places do this type of meal as a fund raiser. Often it is done around St. Patrick's Day.
I made several potatoes for my week. I roasted them in the crock pot. That is something I have never done before. I will let you know how it turns out.

I have heard of potatoes being done this way in the crock pot. Love potatoes and come by that honestly. I am both Irish and a Idahoan, home of the 'tator'. I love them cooked any way. Baked, hashed, mashed, boiled.

my sister, at my suggestion, did a potato and hot dog bar as the dinner for the helpers and those in the wedding rehearsals. They wanted to stay cheap, and this allowed for that.

We don't have stuffed potatoes as a rule but I'm beginning to think I'd like to try some different fillings.
