Another Sunday Night Washing Clothes

Nothing could be more exciting than to end the day washing clothes. I am invigorated by the constant churning of the washing machine. I get ecstatic when I pull the laundry out of the washer and place the clothes carefully into the dryer. Once again, I can listen to the calming sound of the dryer as it makes the clothes dry and wrinkle free. I have hangers in place to use for my shirts and pants. This whole thing is a delightful way to spend Sunday night. Oh look, a tiny little wrinkle on one of the pair of pants. Oh, oh, I see a stain on a shirt that I missed. Oh no, there are holes in the socks that have suddenly appeared. I am having a laundry meltdown crisis. What am I going to do? Okay, if this whole posting sounds like a bunch of BS then you are not alone. Happy Laundry Night to all of you.

I have to do my laundry on the weekend or after 7pm during the week. The electricity rates are cheaper then. We don't run the dishwasher before 7pm either.

Laundry is something that we all have to do. We might as will enjoy doing the laundry.

LOL! I was going to say this post was dripping with sarcasm. I, too, am doing laundry tonight. I start on Saturday and sometimes finish on Sunday, and sometimes I end out forgetting about it altogether until the following weekend... or my daughter is looking for her work uniform, but she usually does that herself. I don't like doing laundry but I don't like anyone else doing it. I am very fussy about how I do my laundry... I don't want ANYTHING to shrink so a lot of stuff goes in the dryer for 15-20 minutes and then removed and hung up. That includes just about anything that is new. I freaked when my daughter put my new t-shirt in the dryer. Yeah, it was cotton and it shrunk a bit. Now if I could just get her to wash the dishes or clean the crumbs off the counter.

Yeah it does sound funny Sounds like you are having a meltdown crisis. Leave the clothes where they are and go to bed.
