Yesterday I had started a discussion. It received many likes and responses. But today that discussion is not in my profile.Perhaps it has got deleted. This is the first time ever since I joined Mylot when any of my discussions has got deleted. Is it a bad experience?Perhaps,no.How can an experience that has made me wiser can be bad? Thanks to this 'bad' experience I now know what Mylot does not allow.I now know Mylot better.

I hope that the disappearance of your discussion prompted you to read the Guidelines again to see what it was that made Admin remove it. It is certainly a good thing to learn from one's experience but unless you know WHY a discussion was deleted, you are quite likely to make the same mistake again. If you have any doubts about why a discussion was removed or any point in the Guidelines which doesn't seem clear, you can send a PM to @goaskalice (the main Admin) about it and he may be able to give you an explanation (though unless you remind him what the discussion consisted of, he may not be able to say, since he deals with many discussions every day).

@owlwings,No.my friend,I didn't read the guidelines, because I realized that I had violated guidelines and so the discussion was rightly deleted.Actually I was talking about the site's payment algorithm through the discussion which is not allowed. Thanks for providing me the link, but I don't think I need to contact the admin for I know why the discussion was deleted.Hope, you understand.

Happened to me before. It is annoying if it received lots of likes etc. Just need to find out why it was deleted to ensure it does not happen again.

@gudheart,For me it has happened for the first time.It was deleted, because it unintentionally tried to discuss the algorithm of Mylot. It's something the site does not allow.

@gudheart I,too, hope so.Actually we sometimes unknowingly violate guidelines and it leads to deletion of our posts.

As long as you know why the post was deleted, it is a good experience. Otherwise you need to find out why so you can avoid deletions in the future.
