Trying to make the "relationship" last. I am going to save it. Me and my laptop has been in a great relationship. It never put me down. It has always been there when i need it. But, last year, i noticed that it wanted to give up. It keeps on crashing, it caught some virus. What happened next makes me more.sad. The adapter was broken. So i ordered one on line. It costs me much but, i wanted to hang on with my laptop. After a week, the adapter arrived. It worked on my laptop, and now...have to remove the virus---reformat it. Too much of the.sentimental value. Do you try to save some of your things too? P.S. Me and my laptop will be reaching our 6th year on May. Lol

I have an old HP desktop that I've been hanging onto for years. I don't have it hooked up to the internet, though, because I don't want to get a virus. It is irreplaceable now, but I have old programs on it that don't work with newer operating systems,

Yes, I do. One is my laptop, I bring it to a technician for some problem and after fixing the problem, I just keep it in my dresser, I'm using the desktop of my son or my tablet so that my laptop can relax from daily used.

I give whatever is acting up to J, and he tells me he either can fix or it's beyond repair. He's good at that stuff.

I'd save my laptop as much as i could not only because of the sentimental value but because I don't want to spend for a new computer but lately some keys of my present computer are not working anymore so I'm really sad about this.

It is very obvious that your laptop is doing its best to save your relationship too. I'm confident that you'll both be happily celebrating your 6th anniversary this coming May after a very well performed "reformat" procedure.

I always start saving some money after I buy new one. This way I have some money left for buying a new one. its hard to know when the laptop or any device is likely to die on us especially when we need it.

That's quite a long relationship with a laptop! You've done well to stay together so long.
