Demo websites have been created!

I just got a potential project which is to create a website. After preparing the quotation, I also created two demo websites for the potential client to take a look. If he likes one of the demo websites, then I will just modify it for his company. I didn't expect it took me two days to complete these two demo websites. But I can also use them for future. If I have any other potential clients asking for it, I don't need to spend time creating the demo websites again. It's always worth to do something right at the beginning, then it'll be easier in future. It's time to go back to the previous working project and just wait for the news. Before that, I would like to take a break and spend some time mylotting!

Yes, I think it'll be easier for me to show the demo websites to the future clients even this potential client doesn't like it. He thinks it's too costly.

@infatuatedbby Yes, I guess he might still be able to find a cheaper one, as there are many web designers out there. It's just that sometimes some people do not appreciate how much effort we put on a website or anything we do, and they always thought it's something very easy and it should be very cheap.

Just like handmade crafts, many people think they are too expensive.

It's actually the first took longer time, the second one just merely copied from the first and modified. The client seemed okay with the demo, but is not satisfied with the quoted price.

I think when you have a few such projects in a month, you would have earned enough to fund a very comfortable retirement!

Actually if we can get good project, freelance programmers can earn good money here. But, I am not actively looking for projects, and I don't have much time to work now too. My main role is still taking care of my children, so I still have to live within the budget.

I guess we all have different talents and interests in different areas. There are many areas I couldn't imagine myself being able to learn or do as well, such as painting or any artistic work!

Thanks. I am not sure if I can close the deal, as the client thinks the quoted price is too expensive. But it's okay, he is actually my husband's friend and he's not easy to deal with, so I let my husband decide what price he wants to charge.

Yes, I always like to create something that I can re-use the next time. So it's only the first time I need to spend longer, but later I'll be much easier.
