Zero Patience, Ugh...

I am munching away on fudge (emotional eater here) listening to the wonderful rain pouring outside, though it is still quite hot, cheering a little everytime there is a flash of lightning and deep grumble of thunder, I love, just love a good loud storm!
And at the same time I was thinking about patience, and how quite frankly I have none! Not one iota! Yes, I have been forced to be patient on many occasions, but that has been a real pain each time.
When I do something I want immediate results, when I make an effort I want it reciprocated. And well, that's not always the case, huh? We don't always get what we want (disgruntled, very disgruntled).
On the other hand, I am also quite certain I have caused others moments of great impatience. Why are there always two sides?
So, I'll just keep eating fudge, listening to the glorious, fierce storm out there and learn to accept what I do not want to accept, as others have had to accept what they don't want to, though it pains me, it really pains me.
Anyone else here who has zero patience? But realises they have probably also caused lack of patience? Anyone else here who would happily join me in eating fudge? (Well, you would need to bring your own packet, because I am halfway through my packet already, ha ha, but, hey, we'd have a nice chat!).

I used to think I am quite patient, until my eldest son was around 3 years old, then only I realized I NEED to learn to be more patient. I have always been learning to improve my patience since then. I always remind myself to slow down. Meditation does help me.
I am just thinking when you enjoy the time listening and watching to the rain, lightning and storm, you might not be zero patient, as you still enjoy the beauty of nature.
Enjoy your fudge. I do not feel like eating sweet stuffs lately, so I'd just watch you eating.

@bluesa I have to. Actually, I couldn't stand myself being so impatient. I just don't feel well. Moreover, being like a "monster mom" is so scary!
My grandfather had diabetes, so since I was young, I tried to avoid taking too sweet, though I still eat chocolate and sweet coffee sometimes.

Again, we are alike. I have zero patience, but have to keep it under control, lest they take me away to the funny farm or worse. As for the fudge, no thanks. I'm full. Lol! That's what I tell myself when I shouldn't eat something fattening. Lol!

I would love to visit and have a chat with you and I'd bring more fudge enough for both of us... but ... I have more patience than most, nothing bothers me unless its scary, then ...not so much. I love a wild storm if I have a shelter to be under. I think we could still be good friends...

@PainsOnSlate , thank you that you would bring more fudge :). I think we would be good friends too, because your patience might inspire me to try to be more patient too... Agreed on storms, when I am safely inside, I sit and gawk at them with joy. :)

I'm usually a pretty patience person, but there are a few people that I have zero tolerance too.

@lilnana1111 , yeah, I am not patient at all, but have been made to be at times, and yes, some people really do know how to aggravate.

In general, I am very patient, but...I'm also a stresser as well-uh, I've said that before though, haha. For me, it's more like a case of, if situations or ppl are reliable, then I'm chill-if something seems unreliable, then I stress. Like for me right now, dr.s, oh gosh so much stress I have to check everything they say like 3 times;/. A good friend, no stress and just happy:). Dealing with the electric company, oh gosh, stress again. My dog doing something annoying then something cute as heck, no stress:). I tend to prioritize things like that, or...well, I'd rip out my hair;/.

@HebrewGreekStudies , yeah, a good friend equals no stress :). And aw, dogs equals no stress either. Patience is just something I lack, sigh. I, um, already cut my hair, don't want to still rip it out, so I'll eat fudge. Maybe you should try eating fudge too? And save your hair? ;)

I would join you with fudge any day, but I'm a patient person. But I think you're doing great because you voice out your woes.
