Another Beautiful Day

I definitely want to get outside today. The sun is shining brightly and the temperature is going to the 70s F. The painter is here again today. He didn’t come yesterday. I think he is almost finished with everything and he has done a great job. Everything looks really nice. My 12 year-old greatgrandson is coming over this afternoon, so that my 15-year old grandson can tutor him in Math. He is having a bit of a struggle with Math right now and I can understand why. This “NEW” math is ridiculous, in my opinion. Just saying. I have about a dozen things I need to be doing, so I should get busy. It’s 10:30AM and I want to make the best use of my time today, because tomorrow, I will be running errands and grocery shopping. One errand is getting some more photos copied. I’m NOT looking forward to that, but I want to get it done. I wish that the scanner at Target was positioned better so that I wouldn’t have to lean over the counter to use it. It is really difficult to stand there and lean over, for the time it takes to scan and edit the photos before they can be printed. These old bones give out faster than they used to, and my back just gives out. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a great week-end coming up. I have another event to go to on Saturday. You won’t believe this one. I will explain later.

I have to agree on the "new" math as my grandchildren are learning it. It totally baffles me. We've been having wonderful weather too and I'm going to be sad if it goes back to being cold before winter says a final good-bye

They just finished two hours of tutoring. He was learning percentages today. At first, he just could not get it in his head, but my grandson is a good tutor and is patient with him, so he finally got it and then they BOTH were happy and had to celebrate with some macaroni and cheese that I made fresh for them. Now they are out on the trampoline.

We are very lucky to have a scanner attached to our computer so it isn't too hard to scan stuff.

I need to get one, I guess, but I haven't had the need for one until I started this "project" with the photographs.

We had a beautiful day like that yesterday. Totally gorgeous, temps in the high 70's, sun shining, a warm breeze. Today is much cooler, and cloudy, with maybe a shower or two. But even so, it's still warmer than usual for this time of the year.

Not sure where you are in the US, but I'm in VA. It was so nice today. I still have my screened windows open and the house is airing out some. A good thing too, from all the paint smell. We had the painter again today and he finished everything up for now. He will be back again later to do some more work that my son is lining up.

Yes, I hope to take some pictures. You will be surprised, I think, when I tell you what it's all about. Stay tuned.

Well, it's 5PM and the painter has left and the tutoring is over, so I'm taking a break, hoping to have time to post an article before the news comes on at 6PM. I always try to watch the evening news, but it's so political right now and I could care less about who becomes President. None of them will be able to solve the many problems this country and the world faces for the future. Only God's Kingdom can solve mankind's problems and that is YET in the future, so we need to keep praying for God's Kingdom to come and his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (The Lord's Prayer) God has set a time to rid the earth of wickedness and pain and suffering. All we have to do is WAIT. READ: 2 Peter 3:8-14 This scripture furnishes some important instructions for all of us who are waiting.
