I love my heating blanket it'd a dule one so my husband doesn't have to have his side on at all. I'm the one that likes a warm bed with war, blankets so I turn my blanket on all of the time. I probably turn it on even in the summer this year. I'm almost always cold and my husband is almost always hot. It's not often that I'm actually hot while I'm in a house or places. Outside I'm fine and no I don't have anything that cause me to be cold I just am. My body takes a lot of calories to burn with how I'm always on my feet all day and that I have a fast metabolism so keeping heat is hard for me.

I have a heated mattress cover, Had to fold it in half and lay it entirely on my side of the bed. It doesn't have dual controls and my hubby didn't like the heat. I won't use it in the summer months, but in months where it gets cold and sometimes damp, it is necessary to warm up my old joints so I can sleep better. Once I crawl into bed, I turn it off because I over heat if I leave it on.

Mine doesn't get very hot. My old one would get really hot but it on,y had one controller and I used it at school. My hsianmd likes the house cold in the summer ans I freeze with the Ac on so I need the blanket even on a very low temp.

@ShyBear88 I like it cool enough to be comfy in the summer. Hubby gets a bit chilled. Weird how we are opposite.

I always feared heated blankets malfunctioning or I'll forget to turn it off even though there is a timer. My sister on the other hand loves them and swears they're awesome. You will find me layered in blankets when it's cold.

@ShyBear88 Do you put a timer or eventually get hot in the middle of the night to turn off the heated blanket?

@infatuatedbby hit has a timer of its on after it's been on so long and you haven't turned if off it turns off on its own after 8 hours. I some times forget it's on and don't turn if off.
