I actully like the dollar menu.

I can go into most fast food places and look at the dollar menu and find at least one or more items I can order that are good enough to fill me up. I favor the dollar chicken sandwich at McDonalds and value fries but sometimes I like Jack in the Box because I can buy 2 tacos for a dollar and a side of fries and this with a soda is just about right for my tastes.

Dollar menus rule. I never buy more than the dollar menu that I recall my friend.
I see others spending gobs of cash on big meals.

You are being wise and you can spend just about 3 dollars and get enough to eat while others spend 12 dollars for their friend and themselves or a mother and 2 kids can ring up quite a high amount by getting the combo meal deals with a special dessert or soft drink on the side. It adds up so fast it's insane.

You can actually buy two basic dollar burgers or cheesburgers, go to the table with your food and remove the buns on one burger and place all the meat and lettuce and onion between the one set of buns and discard the other two buns. That way you will have a nice thick burger. Just a thought. All that extra bread is empty calories from carbs that can instantly put the weight on.

I do not eat out often, and then it is usually not at a fast food restaurant. When I do go to one, though, I very much enjoy the dollar menu. I actually think that Wendy's has the best dollar menu (or at least it did a couple years ago), but I can usually find something I like on any dollar menu.

I only order form the buck menu at McDonald's. You can get enough for a snack. Same for other buck meals at other fast food joints.
