A day out with my dad

My dad and I both had a day today where we didn't have any plans so we finally got time to go to the tattoo studio and talk to the artist about being my dad his first tattoo done.
Before we did any of that we went to a can redemption place and I returned all the cans that had been saved up in my cellar for the past few years. This place gives 6 cents back for each bottle. I got $52!
We went to Little Ceasers and bought a pizza and breadsticks to share. I didn't care for the pizza but the breadsticks were good.
At noon when the tattoo studio opened we went and looked through the 6 books there to choose what artist we wanted. We chose whoever was available first of 3 different artists. We were so amazed at some of the work these 3 guys did. I wish I had talent like that.
One guy has been out sick for 2 weeks and is booked up for when he gets back. Another guy is booked up until April. So we went with a guy who hopefully will be able to do the tattoo on Tuesday. We put the down payment down and my dad will let me know what day and time specifically when he finds out.
Before coming home we made a quit stop at Walmart to get some groceries.

I used to drink a lot more bottled water and soda so they piled up faster. Taking them to the machines to return is very slow and time consuming so I decided I would just save them up to take to the can redemption place where they count them for you. It is a lot faster. I just never got around to doing it. With the fuel oil that leaked all over the cellar it was time to get them out of there. After this when I am in the area I will return the few I have each time I go rather then let them pile up and clutter the cellar up so much.

It was a nice day. I got home and got to spend time with Glenn. My daughter had a sleep over at her cousins house (my sisters/parents) last night. My son was bummed because he likes to stay up and sleep downstairs and watch movies until 1am on the weekends but when my daughter and Michael aren't here he is scared to sleep downstairs by himself. Tonight I may have my niece come sleep here so my son can enjoy sleeping downstairs tonight. He got to stay up until about 11 pm last night playing on the new Playstation 3 until Glenn and I went to bed.

Hehe, when I was a child and my sister went to sleep early I would be scared to be in the living room by myself too! I hope your niece gets to sleep over so your son can stay up and have fun too since it's the weekend. Hope you have a great weekend!
