Retirement at 60

I am now 58. Two years from now I'll be 60 and due for retirement. I have already informed my office mates that I will retire at this age but there was a negative response. They said that what will I do after my retirement since I am still capable of working, will I not get bored? And this made me think and ponder. Will I extend or I will use my productive years after 60 to put up a business of my own. Am I too late to think of that?

I have known some individuals who are over the age of 60 but dont look old at all and they still feel young and healthy. If its not mandatory that you resign when you reach 60 years old then i suggest you continue working and be productive.

Yes, I have realized that. I just maybe felt the excitement of becoming 60.

You are the one who knows yourself and the only one that should make the decision.
