Cujo gave us a scare

I know you guys know I have cats. But we also have 3 dogs. Cujo, our second oldest, has a history of seizures. His mother had them as well. This morning I heard him making the weirdest sound, and when I came out, he was laying on his blanket, stiff as a board. He was breathing, I could see that, but he didn't seem able to move. I called the roomie in since she knows more about dogs than I do. She sat with him for a bit, and he started to come out of it. When he was able to sit up on his own, we decided that I needed to take him to the vet. Since he wasn't walking too well, I went and got a laundry basket and we put him in it. We carried him out to the car in it. At the vet's I carried him in. But once in there, my vet put him on the floor and he walked, all be it a bit unsteadily, toward the door. So, she gave him a couple of big old shots, that he barely responded to, and I have to take him back tomorrow. Cujo is almost 14, so he's not a young dog by any means. Still, by this evening, he seemed back to his old, grumpy, self.
