Two years ago my husband and i got into a big altercation. My younger sister had my two children and was in the mist of dropping them off when she heard us arguing so she took them back home with her. When she got home she called our middle sister who took it upon herself to show up at my door step to see what was going on. When she got there my husband was already gone back to work and she noticed I was packing my kids and my things because my husband told us to leave. I told her if she was going to be here with me she was going to have to help me pack mine and my kids' things. Nope, she decided she would bust up his belongings and get away with it. However, I told her she would suffer the consequences for her actions if he ever called me asking what happened. When he return home, he called me with the police in the background and yes I told them everything. One year later, my mom come banging on my door and window at 2pm in the morning. My kids where not even 10 feet away from the front door. However they did manage to sleep through the stupidity. I finally let her in because I thought there was something wrong with her but she told me to go get my husband which I did. My husband gather himself from the bed to meet her in the living room and she started yelling at him about why he put a warrant out for my sister's arrest for vandalism. Well, if you ask me he did right! Who wouldn't done that. Anyway she finally leaves out of the house and before she gets into her car, she stated that she knew my husband's license plate number and what time he goes to work in the morning. She pulls off and then the police show up 20 minutes after she leaves. They were surrounding the house with flashlights and guns. I heard my dog barking. At that point something told me to go to the front door with my hands up and ask what's going on. I did just that and before I knew it, the police where pointing their guns at me, asking me who else was in the house. I told them my children and husband. The told me to tell my husband to come outside with his hands up and he did just that. They Finally tell us why they were called and I immediately thought it was my mom but later found out it was my sister. A couple months down the line my sister hired a lawyer to serve us court papers to appear in court. Don't understand why she would spend $3000 for a lawyer to get her from paying a measly $600 in property damages she done. Anyway, my mom was later diagnosed with cancer and my husband but his differences to the side to see my mother who at the time was suffering in the hospital. He told her that we needed to squash the issue and move on. Well, they brought the situation up again back in Sept of last year. However, they were trying to make it seem as if I was wrong for showing up to court and that she was in the right for calling the police like she did. Mind you the accusation the police gave us was my husband pulled a gun out on my mom which he didn't. After all of this, I decided that this would be something I can't live with! Agreeing that I was wrong because I wasn't and everything she did including putting my kids and my life in danger trying to get back at my husband. Am I doing the right thing, by cutting them off?
