It seems that everything happens at the same time. I was comfortable with my budget so I bought some extras such as the new cellphone and a day´s worth of a gardener.
I also lent Leticia some money for her dentist treatment and she told me that she would pay me back at the end of the month. I also started my dentist treatment which will be a lot more expensive than what I thought.
But then came Jorge´s accident and I do not even think that Leticia will be able to pay me back when she said. I will not press it either as she has enough with Jorge´s accident. She just told me that today he will have another surgery in the leg that it is being treated. Fortunatly, he is able to move the toes of both legs.
Today I will do a through checking in my pantry to see whether I can skip the supermarket for the rest of the month. I will also check my meds to see how much more will I have to buy.
It seems that everything happens at once. I thought I would not have money problems this month but it seems that after all I will.

My mom (who is great in managing the family's economics) would advise me to always keep a small amount on the side for such emergencies. I don't know how to help you with budget issues since I can never follow my mother's advice myself. I hope you can find a way to reduce expenses and go through the month.

@marguicha I understand, it would be easier to handle those emergencies they didn't occur all at once. When this happens to me, I am trying to cut on food and supermarket expenses as you did and spend only on necessities.

@marguicha I remember that you used to work as a professor in university, correct me if I am wrong. I have a proposal and it might help you out. I am working as a home-based teacher for quite sometime now. Why don't you try to work online teaching at home. It is fun and you can earn extra cash while at home.

That is one thing you won't have to spend any money on this month then, good for having a full pantry.

Everything DOES happen at once. I suppose it is a side effect of Murphy´s laws.

We can try to compensate on what is available during these hard times. You can buy cheaper brands of groceries instead of the popular brands.

I went to check the pantry and it has lots of good things to eat. I will just have to do some planning on the menus.

Your kindness may have made things tight, but you will be rewarded I am sure. I am pondering what to at today, not because I am short of food, but I do not want to decide.

There always are ups and downs in life. Look at some of the wasteful expenses that could be reduced or eliminated during your financial crisis. N hope you get out of it soon.
