for me I get them from vista I use to get it from other source the both firms I got my bank checks from were cheaper then what my bank charges for checks.Yes today I know some people with the right program can print their own checks. On the other hand most bills pay today are by electronic means. It can be on line with the debit card or have something set up with the compines and your bank with auto withdraw . Checks are kind of being out dated. What I use my checks for most of the time is to pay rent and send money to other bank I do business withOk that it for now.

I haven't had a chequebook for years but as far as I know most people get the books from their banks and they are totally free. I know I've never paid for a chequebook.

Today most banks now charge for checks they only offer free checks when the person open they account then when it time to get more checks they do charge and the cost are high. Now if some is very rich and had a lot of money those people might get their checks for free

@eagletrek2 No UK banks charge for chequebooks no matter how much you have in your account. Some send them automatically when you open an account and some you have to request one but none of them charge.

I usually get my checks from the bank and even though they might be more expensive I hardly ever use checks anymore so they last a long time
