Princess says "It is a Queen Sized bed"

It is after nine in the morning. This is where Princess has been for about twelve hours. I could not resist the photo. The fact that she is still there, and it looks kind of "different" outside leads me to believe we have some weather coming in. Lucky me, I have a second bath robe. I did have to look carefully to see her move. I wish I slept as well as the cat sleeps.

They do know how to nap don't they? Even my pup, Ally, naps in complete comfort, how does she do it? I wish I could.

I worry about her as she is a little on the older side. But just seeing her makes me feel cuddly.

She sure looks comfy sleeping on your bath robe in the queen sized bed.

Some nights I have to fight her for my pillow. She does look comfy and I am glad the photo did not disturb her.

@GardenGerty that is so funny having to fight for a place to sleep.

She looks like she has the right idea. I could go for a nap right now myself, especially after seeing how comfortable she looks.

@GardenGerty I think that you have a point. On the other hand, if you suggest that I get up and do my chores right now, I am not sure that suggestion will be so powerful.

I love to watch cats sleep, I would also love to be able to sleep like a cat.

Wow - asleep for 12 hours? I'd have to check on her too to make sure she was still alive!

She may have been up while I was sleeping, but she was there when hubby went to bed. I wish I was that relaxed.

She is really good. She does not bite our feet or anything.

We can learn a lot from our animals. Sadly, i could not lie down for 12 hours straight - after about 5 or 6 hours I need to move.

Oh, I am with you. I hurt after about six hours. Then I can get up and sleep in a recliner for a while, if conditions are right.

I have one that loves to sleep in my chair, and the second I get up, even if it's just to walk across the room and come right back, she'll steal my seat!

Oh, I can just picture that constant battle. We go through stages of having favorite places to sleep.

It took me a while to see the photo. At first I saw it as a close up of a flower. But because I remember that Princess is the name of your cat, I adjusted my eyes to see the cat and now I can't see the flower anymore. Has that ever happened to you? She looks so peaceful.

The Siamese I just rescued I named Princess @GardenGerty . The 4 babies she just had I still have to name. They are only 4 days old, so I think I'll wait awhile to see how they act before naming them.

Siamese are kind of regal. Princess is a fitting name. I always got acquainted before naming kittens.
