The Phantom of the Opera is coming to town! And better yet, it's going to be at a really old theater downtown which is actually said to be haunted itself. It's the absolute best venue possible for a show like this!
My husband and I will be taking our 13 year old twins to see it on April 9th.
The kids are so excited!
We've seen the movie, the kids studied it in school during their chorus class, and obviously we all know the music.
I've actually seen the show once before, back in 2001 a friend of mine brought me as her husband was too sick to go.
My husband has never seen it. The only show he's ever been to was Wicked and that was about 3 years ago.
The twins have not seen it either, although they've been to a number of plays. My daughter saw Les Mis a couple years ago with a class, and just a couple days ago they both saw To Kill A Mockingbird with their class.
I am really excited about seeing Phantom again!
Have you ever seen it?
What was the last show you went to see on stage?

When my youngest was around 8, he entered into the contests in the Saturday papers. We were happy and surprised when he won two tickets to the Phantom in Toronto. It was awesome...We both loved every minute and watching the actors and the costumes and having it right in fromt of us was quite the experience. He also won tickets to Les Misérables, another fabulous show.
Tell us about it when you can.

I'm sure seeing it on it's permanent stage was quite impressive! We're going to see a touring show which I'm sure is just as good as the original, but there is probably more detail in their permanent set than there is in a touring set.

It's an awesome show. I saw it once on stage in LA.
Now last weekend, I saw three stage shows. I won tickets to see Legally Blond the Musical at an amateur theater, then I saw Irish music, and then on Sunday I saw Book of Mormon.

I have seen phantom before, but it was so long ago, and I was so young. I don't think I fully appreciated it.
Saturday I'll be seeing another amateur show. How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying... it's being performed at the high school, and my son is in it!

An opera back in middle school or elementary school, can't remember which. Of course I've seen concerts for modern music since.
I hope you enjoy the Phantom, no I don't believe I've ever seen it.

I am not sure I'd be interested in Opera.. but musicals and plays are fun!

We are big theater goers, and have seen Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, and others multiple times. We loved The Producers, Mama Mia, The Lion King, etc....
My granddaughter will be seeing Hamilton in April, as an early birthday gift. My last show was in October when I saw my granddaughter perform Off Broadway in Peter Pan! Nothing could top that.

Wicked is coming back next year, we're going to see that again. I told my husband that one of these days we need to go down to NYC and see something on Broadway.

I never seen it live, but I have seen different versions of it as a movie. The last show I have seen was a show like Stomp, but with cooking ware. It was really good. I can't remember the name of it.
