Autumn in View

The mist was up before the sun
leaving little drops of dew;
and within the magical misty morn
I knew that Autumn was in view.
The seasons change in simple days
another spin round the sun;
heat and sunlight become a distant haze
as summer hits the northern run.
All too soon the winter is here
leaving the trees barren and bare;
death before the promise of life,
a natural beauty beyond compare.
Embrace them all for what they give
Summer, Winter, Spring and fall;
a merry-go-round of delightful days
a life to live by anyone's call.
Poem by Lany Olivier
Good Morning everyone - Kalimera Katerina.
I am feeling a little under the weather today as I played bowls in the rain and I am afraid I might have caught a cold.
Happy Week-end to you all.

@Inlemay you're very welcome. I suppose seeing such a picturesque place leads you to crate a wonderful poem?

We are fortunate to live in Canada. We have a definite change in the seasons. Spring is starting to peek around the corner. This winter has been much less 'wintry" than normal.

In Southern California, we never know what we're going to get. Being a Meteorologist out here is the only job you can be wrong every single time and still have a job, hahaha.
