I was not here the whole day because I could not log in; the CPU of our computer on desktop is not functioning again. There is a humming sound when I switch it on and no images appear on the screen. Anyway… I brought out the dogs to have their night ritual, and I smelled something fragrant. I smelled this last December to February and now in March, I smell it again. This flowers bloom every January and they spread their fragrance at night, especially if the flowers are white. The picture is the one I took this evening. Can you guess what flower this is, my friends? They say, whoever has these plants will be fortunate and lucky for the rest of their lives. There is a clue now! I have to sleep now, my dear; I have to rest because we will go to church at 6:30AM tomorrow. Wish me luck- I will drive the car.

I haven't seen this flower before until today. And it is a coincidence that I saw it from my friend's photo. He took that photo from a small village. Those flowers look exactly like yours. I don't know what these flowers' name. But perhaps it doesn't have an official name since it is from the grass.

@ridingbet The name fortune plant was there too. I thought you wanted its real name. Dracaena is not a scientific name. I have a few varieties of that plant in my garden.

it flowers hen it is already seasoned, my dear. They say if the color of the flowers are white, you are lucky and fortune; violet flowers are not though, according to old folks.

@ridingbet actually it's very white, the violet color is the reflection of the sky cause i took the picture just a few minutes before the sun went down. You can see part of the violet sky in the background coming out from the leaves of the mango tree, the fortune plant is so tall that i needed elevation to get a clear shot

@ridingbet I see, this is a dracena, florists sell them here but they do not produce flowers. I received this plant twice in my life and I asked my friends and family never to give me one again. Both time it did not bring me luck, but big and serious problems.
