Promised Land Movie

I have just started watching Promised Land on Netflix. It's not terrible exciting but it is interesting staring Matt Damon, Hal Holbrook and Frances McDormand. It is about two executives of a gas company going to a small town and trying to convince the townspeople that they need to sign over the drilling rights of the town to their company. Yep, it is about fracking. Matt Damon plays Steve who meets one of the towns teachers and they become good friends. One of the high school teachers does not like the idea that Steve is trying to sell to the town . Have you seen this movie and if so what did you think of it?

I havent seen this one Marcy. I adore Matt however. He always is great in whatever he does. I might try to find this one day.

@Marcyaz It was not a bad movie. It had some slow parts to it, but it got better the longer I watched it.

I have heard about it but haven't had the chance to watch it. It looks interesting. Plus, I like Frances McDormand. First movie I ever saw her in was Madeline lol I thought she was good in it.

nope, haven't seen this one. I do like Matt Damon normally though. Not sure about this plot line, would prob be better if the fracking caused a volcano they had to run from.
