I mentioned in comments replies to one of my earlier posts that I once ended up in a very hot, sticky, sweaty gorilla outfit. This is a photo of that experience. I’m on the left. The play we were in was a spoof version of 2001; A Space Odyssey, written by my friend, Dave Wake. I had to send up the iconic moment when an ape throws a bone in the air and it turns into a spaceship. I played Quatermass in the same spoof, and in the sequels I was the back half of a pantomime unicorn and briefly in drag as an upgrade of Hal 9000 too. It was all great fun. Arthur Chappell

To be in community theatre sounds like fun, something I've always wanted to do but that does sound not comfortable at all to wear

it was actually one off play for a science fiction convention - the same con I'm attending next weekend but I'm not in the stage play this year
