Decision Time For Rush Limbaugh

"Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide" is a famous statement we have heard before, and the time to decide has come for Rush Limbaugh. Rush is in a unique position as one of the leading conservatives in the world. Donald Trump's Campaign for the Presidency might permanently transform the conservative movement which Limbaugh helped develop. The issue is should he support the traditional conservatives in the Republican Establishment, or support the unorthodox presidential candidacy of Donald Trump. Millions of conservatives around the globe seek his guidance on the issue, and I believe Limbaugh should state a clear position on the issue. Limbaugh is one of the main philosophers and architects of the modern conservative movement and Establishment Republicans reflect his ideology. Their common ideology involves several main principles as they believe in limited government and taxes, cutting back on government regulations, and free trade. Donald Trump is a nationalist and a populist that does not share this ideology and his candidacy may permanently change the conservative movement which Limbaugh helped to develop. There are significant differences between Limbaugh and Trump. Limbaugh calls voters who disagrees with him "low information voters" and Trump loves all his voters including those with limited education. Trump is concerned about people who work for a living and he attracts many Democrats. While Limbaugh tends to be a free trader, Trump opposes international trade deals and would use the power of the Federal Government to impose tariffs and protect American jobs. Cutting the size and cost of government, while limiting its power and influence in our lives is a major objective for Limbaugh and Establishment Republicans but not necessarily Trump. Trump is not stressing limited government in his campaign. So who should Limbaugh support? Should he support Establishment Republicans and the traditional conservative movement he helped to develop, or should he support Trump who will destroy and transform the traditional conservative philosophy?

Rush prides himself on staying "neutral" and not endorsing. I think he will just support whomever the Republican nominee will be. Low information voters aren't those who disagree with him but the sheep blindly following whatever the liberals tell them.
