Bowery Electric was comprised of Lawrence Chandler and Martha Schwendener. They released just three albums before calling it quits, each album distinctively different.
In fact, it was their droning, guitar-heavy self-titled debut that hooked me.
By the time their third album, Lush Life, came around, they had ditched the droning for an electronic chill out sound.
Despite my love of drone, I love Lush Life the most, particularly the title track, which is a lush (hence the title,) groovy piece of chill.

I got lucky with them, I bought their debut just because they were on Kranky, one of my favorite labels.
