Fixing food for tomorrow

While I was off visiting my friend, a young man who's been helping us with the house came by today to mow the yard and do a few other things. As he was leaving, he invited us to join them for Easter dinner at their place. The roomie wanted to take somethings to add to the meal, and make sure there was something there I could eat. She had already started boiling the eggs for deviled eggs when I got home. She also decided that tabbouleh would be good. I had tried to beg off, but ended up helping. I started by using my little chopper to cut up onion and dill pickles for the deviled eggs. Then I grabbed some craisins and cut them up, something we learned to add to tabbouleh at the Persian restaurant we both love. I then picked off the mint leaves and cut them up for the tabbouleh. After I did those things, I started peeling the eggs. About the time I finished them, the roomie was finished with the tabbouleh. I wish I were in bed, but that's next, well, after a cuppa hot tea.

I lost a pound, and we haven't been real good this week, so I'm pleased with it.
