Audit Your Life

There comes a time in one's life that you need to step back and see how far you've gone and how far you still need to go. That time may be during one's 25th birthday... a quarter-life crisis as we normally know. Other times, it comes during one's 40th birthday. 40 is the new 25 so they say. Of course, with the growing age of retirement, the age for self-audit comes much later... 60, 65, 70, 75... it can go on and on and on.
For some, like yours truly, self-audit happens almost everyday... in the middle of a traffic gridlock in the biggest parking lot of the world (also know as EDSA during Friday nights). Questions like 'What are my good and bad habits?', 'What are my employable skills?', 'What are my passions in life?', 'What are the things that I still what to accomplish?', or 'When does the hurting stop?' go through one's head like an endless roller-coaster ride featuring multiple loops.
One question that almost always come up is 'Do I treat people how they treat me or do I treat people well regardless if they treat me badly?'... I know, kinda going emo but kinda not.
Anyway, if you were to audit your life, how would it look like?

Hmmm it would look like a pile of garbage! But mind you there are some treasures in the garbage too.

One mans garbage is another man's treasure!
Send me some of that garbage goddess, I don't mind looking through it to find some treasures!

your title caught my eye and good questions you ask yourself. I would look at where I came from and where I want to go or be in my life.

My life is a crazy rollercoaster ride. I do keep busy with work, family, boyfriend but my health is my number 1 priority right now. I wish my health was good but it is not and i wish i could change it but i can not as it was something i was born with. I still try to accomplish things i want to in life and live each day. There are some things i wish i could change but hopefully that will happen later in life.

I feel I wasn't very good at being charismatic with different people. My mom was good at it but not me. sometimes I question what should I want from what I should be content with.

People are born with charisma but it can be learned.
As for want vs need, if we can get both, why shouldn't we? I strive to get both my wants and needs.

Good for you Anna!
Sometimes, we need to see what's in front of us and be happy with it.

It is a mix-mix thing! But this later part of my life, I think I am enjoying and stretching some creases, untying some knots, and see life in a very positive light.

@allen0187 Thanks. Yes, because I learned to always think of the positive aspects of things, unlike in the past when negativity rules.
