Easter Dinner

It was a wonderful success. Dinner was at my sister's, and nobody argued, plenty of laughter and good times.
Dinner included ham, hashed browns with a cereal topping, broccoli and bacon, fruit and pretzel salad, and carrot cake for dessert.
This is very unlike any holiday I've had with my family. Usually someone argues and gets upset before everyone goes their separate ways.
I took lots of pictures, which I've already saved in Paint, so I should be able to get one to share with you. It was impossible to get a picture with all of us in one shot, so I'm going to show one with most of us. Since I took all the pictures, I'm not in any of them.

@just4him Awwe. I love family gatherings, and even more when there is no drama involved (I've been there with my own family so I know stressful and/or irritating that can be). I'm so glad it went well for you, and I hope the next gathering is just as good! :)

So am I, especially Dad. He has a way of ruining every gathering, but this time he was on his best behavior and everyone had a good time. That's him in the white shirt at the end of the table.

So did we and it ultimately ended up with baseball. My sister and brother-in-law whose house we were at, and my bother and sister-in-law decided to take Dad to a Cubs/Brewers game in May. My brother-in-law is the one on the left with the glasses. Dad is on the end in the white shirt. Dad is looking forward to the game. He hasn't been to a game in a long time, and he loves the Cubs. This will no doubt be his last game he'll attend. He's gotten frail over the past couple years.
