What Did You Accomplish Today?

I’ve had a very busy day today. I made some real progress on cleaning out my “home office” today. I will be able to take down some shelves in that room right away and that will make room for some furniture that I want to put in this space as I repurpose the room for a guest room/sitting room. I also washed two large loads of clothes today that I cleared out of my bedroom closet. I will be donating these clothes to a person that I have given things to before, for her and her daughter. What they can’t use, she will take to the Goodwill. Since I have lost 35 pounds, I can’t wear a lot of these clothes, so I’m giving them away. There are some very nice things that I have been hanging on to, and have no reason to do so. I don’t plan to gain the weight back. I don’t know what size shoes she or her daughter wear, but I am getting rid of a large box of shoes also. Then, I have three more boxes of things that I’m giving to my friend, Mike for his Flea Market sales. By the end of the week, I should have about 10 boxes of things. I came across several cameras, recorders and other electronic things that I will show to my son and if he doesn’t want any of those things I will also give those to Mike. As you can see, I am determined to move on with my plan for uncluttering and repurposing this room. I hope to get down to the bare walls, so I can paint and put in new carpet too. I also completely cleared out three of the shelves, today, behind one of the doors of my kitchen cabinets. I decided that I would do one cabinet every day, until I got them all done. So, first I worked upstairs and then downstairs and took some breaks in between to rest and watched some TV this evening. I had to keep switching back and forth between “Dancing With The Stars” and “The Voice.” But, I got to see most of the acts. I should have just recorded one show and watched the other but didn’t think of it until I was half way through, because I was tired. I plan to continue my projects all week. My grandson, who is 15, is on Spring Break from high school, so he said he would help me load the car up with all these boxes. And I will have my great grandson, who is 12, here on Wednesday all day, so he can help also. By Friday, I KNOW that I will feel good about what I have accomplished this week. What did you accomplish this week? I am on a roll. I’ve gotten my determination back again.

It sounds like you had a very busy and productive day today, I did not get much done except a few things around home and doing some thinking.

Yes, I'm very proud of myself. I hope I can keep up this pace for the entire week. If I can, then, I can REALLY see some progress, I'm sure. I was going along fairly well and then I got lazy, so now I've regained my determination to get it done.

This has been a pretty productive week for me so far as my work assignments are concerned.

Wow you did a lot. Good job! Today I only posted art pics on my Instagram and Deviant Art acct and the rest is just responding to interesting articles here on myLot. As for the whole week well since it was a Holy week I wasn't able to do much except for doing art and making some temporary tattoos. Finally got around to releasing them for sale to the public. And then I have that kimchi I'm now still waiting on in the ref. Hope it turns out good. Laundry? Well a little of that too. Decluttering? Well that's for another day.
