I Made a Good Impression

Well I'm home, and it took about what I thought it would. My ride picked me up right on time 11:45 and I got to the dentist at 1:50. I went in right away and the whole visit took about 15 to 20 minutes while they took two impressions of my mouth.
They did say they still didn't have the approval from the state for the dentures, but they expected it soon. They told me to call before the next appointment to verify they had the approval. So my next appointment is in 4 weeks.
We left Milwaukee at 2:20 and got home at 4:20.
I got the organ moved back into the office, so that's taken care of, now I just need to get the printers set up, and figure out what to do with all the rest of the stuff that came out of the office, though some of it will go in the closet.

I am glad it didn't take too long at the dentist and you were finally able to get things straigthened out on that account. Oh and Organ sitting there looks very nice as well. It sounds as if you've had a productive day, I've just begun mine.

@just4him now THAT would be my favorite part. Just looking through all the books to be put on it. Well, I may not end up getting them all up that day! haha!

We are now in Virginia and it was our third day in a row of driving . Quite exhausted but meeting friends for dinner.

@just4him we still have 2 days of driving, we stopped for two days to visit in Virginia so won't be home until Saturday.

honestly it should not take that long for the state to approve stuff like that! This isn't exactly elective!

@rakski I have no problem sleeping because I know I did all I could, even if it didn't get finished. I have all the furniture in here, so today I'll get the rest taken care of. I couldn't do it yesterday, I was in a great deal of pain in the leg I had broken. It felt like I pulled a muscle in the back of my knee. It's still bothering me today, but not as much.

@DianneN I remember when my grandmother got it. I was staying with her at the time, and I would go into the sunroom where she had it and plug in the headphones so I wouldn't disturb my grandfather who was either watching a soap opera - his favorite was Days of our Lives, or a baseball game, or both as he had one TV on top of another so he wouldn't miss the game. And I would play the organ to my hearts content. Now that I have it, I am very happy. The sound isn't as strong as it was back then, but when I get frustrated with something, I can and have sat at it and played something easy.

Thanks. It's not in the greatest condition, but considering how old it is, it's to be expected. It was my grandmother's before my parents got it. Now, as you can see, it's mine. I can play the piano, and have played this a little bit, but I have a book to teach me all there is to know about playing it.

I accompanied my sister to the dentist this morning for tooth extraction.
