She Posted That , To Surprise Us Indeed

This is in continuation of my post about my friend who lives in Canada already in my post below http://www.mylot.com/post/2906020/aha-so-she-is-here-in-the-philippines .
I was already at our hometown , in my parents’ house Maundy Thursday . Late afternoon , my friend called and told me that our friend wants us to go to their house .
Thus, my friend and I went there . We had a grand time sharing stories and laughing on the jokes of her husband too .
We had drinks and packed dried fruits and nuts they brought from Canada .
And she told us , she intentionally posted only when they arrived at the airport here in the Philippines to surprise us .
That make-up pouch in the picture , was her gift to me . It contained mascara , eye-shadow , lipstick and some chocolates . She really knows my weaknesses . 
That settled my doubting mind too .

You should let them dry first . I face the electric fan after putting on the mascara . Then , do the second coating then fan it again . Then , wipe those smudges around the eyes with a cotton bud with its tip with baby oil . Then , wipe the baby oil it leaves around the eyes with tissue or cotton bus . Done .

@SIMPLYD I don't use mascara, because when I tried it, my upper and lower lashes stick together.I just use the curler after I have powder myself.

@SIMPLYD I'm not especially if it's milk chocolate. I prefer Swiss dark chocolate because it has anti-oxidant, while the US made ones contain just milk and more milk and sugar

Really , you are not fond of chocolates ? That's a wonderment .
So we both love make-ups . I think , since college , because it was the craze in the late 70's , i am used to putting it on already , just the mascara and the eye shadow though , whenever i go out of the house or to the office .

@infatuatedbby I am already waiting for her to call me , since there little time left because they will be going back by April 2 already . She has a lot of relatives to meet that's why she's busy whenever the come home.

Actually , it was only twice we got to bond because they were busy with their High School reunions and visiting relatives while i was busy with my cousins who came from Manila for our clan's reunion too.
But they promised we will still meet within this week, but this time in the city where i work .

Correct . She always comes home to where she was born and grew up . And it is in our hometown where we friends all grew up .

Actually, she's a sweet and loving friend , so at the back of my mind , she isn't avoiding us that's why she didn't inform us ahead of their coming home .

@Daljinder Actually , their last vacation was 2011 . Before that , they come here yearly . But that's understandable , because their 2 kids are now married . The other one have a son already , so it' what keeps them busy because it's being given to them to take care of every weekdays . And they like it because the kid is so cute .

I was already worried she might not contact us , since it's late afternoon of Maundy Thursday when i received the message of our friend who she contacted first to tell me .
Yes, mascara makes the lashes long and thick making the eyes look so attractive . My lashes are short so mascara does make my eyes bigger .

Indeed she is a true friend since college . Even if they already migrated to Canada , she would inform us when she comes home to our hometown . And she always give us pasalubongs and blowout because she said her money is times 46 pesos . So generous.

Yes, it is to some . But not me though , specially to friends because i wanted to be prepared of things i should be serving her when we gather .
