Jammies or no jammies?

As I was getting ready for bed and putting my jammies on, I was reminded of a New Years party we went to a few years ago, where we all wore our jammies. Some people had to go out and buy PJ's cause they don't usualy wear them. It was like a big pajama party. It was fun, we were all dressed comfortable and it was nice and easy when we got home, we were all ready dressed for bed, lol. How about you, jammies or no jammies

I have flannel jammies. I prefer to be warm when I sleep. I have never worn them outside of my home. It used to horrify me when schools allowed "pajama days".

I like flannel jammies too. I've heard my grandchildren talk about pajama day, they love it.

@ElizabethWallace Good for you, it's nice when teens respect their elders.

@lilnana1111 I never let high school students come into my classroom in pajamas. I told them if they wanted to wear sweats, fine. But I would not tolerate bedroom attire. They respected my wishes.

The only time I wore pajama's when I was just as a kid. that's it, the rest of my time were shorts and tshirts. besides too hot to wear pajama's here.

We do not use a pajama. I know that kids sometimes have pajama parties, never heard about adults. I think that nobody would go outside the house in a pajama here, I wonder what it would happen if the police stops you.

@lilnana1111 I am not sure that in this country the police would have nothing to say. You surely do not see people in their pajamas in the malls or grocery stores, not even going from house to the bin to throw the trash.

If you'd go to WalMart here you'd see people shopping in their pajamas, or some teens wearing pajama bottoms out or to school, so i don't think the police would think much of it, unless they were too reveling.

@LadyDuck sometimes it is pretty weird seeing people shopping in their jammies. Sometimes I'm to lazy to put my socks and shoes on, and I'll wear my slipper to quick run to the store, but that's about it.

Jammies for sure, especially since kids still live with us. Once they move out, then maybe I'd consider the other option, except most of the time I'd be too cold, so possibly it will always be jammies.

I mostly wear nightgowns but I do have two pairs of jammies. It is fun to go to a jammie party.

It used to be a case of no Jammies for me, for many years I didn't bother, but as my oldest son has got older (he'll be 18 in August) I have switched over to using them. I also have 2 young babies (almost 1 and 2) and need to get up in the night and early in the morning, so it's just easier to have Jammies on already. I don't find it any less comfortable, but in summer I switch to a thin nightie due to finding I get too hot!

All that matters is, being comfortable.

I wear pajamas but sometimes they are decent for going out to a party with. Either they are too short, too revealing, or too dingy / old / dirty. I would be weird though and change out of my pajamas and into new ones when I got home though... I have family who wear their normal clothes to bed.

I wear jammies. If I don't have to go out, I'm in my jammies all day.
