Watching the Wine Bottling Truck

Have you ever wondered how wine gets into the bottles at wineries? I had my first experience today watching the process. My neighbor had invited me to come watch his wine get bottled several years ago, but he invited me so far ahead I somehow forgot to go. Another winery told me the truck was coming there the next day, but when I go there, they had rescheduled because of rain.
I got to see the process accidentally today. I stopped by to photograph a winery and it was closed because the bottling truck was there. I parked in the lot and they said I could watch and take pictures. I now have a lot of video I need to edit for a blog post one of these days. I show you the back of the bottling truck because it's really the best view. The truck is so narrow I had to take all photos from the outside so I wouldn't be in the way of the people who were working. I often wonder how many people would drink wine if they could see it being processed. It's a good thing that alcohol kills germs.
The view you see here shows the conveyor that sends the newly bottled crates of wine down for labeling.
