Since I cannot plot my schedules in online tutoring site, I took the chance to write something about the improvised clock of my little niece. It was really fun to help her out with her project. It seems educational system is different during my time. I had also created this kind of project while I am a first grader. And my niece, she is a Kindergarten I. They are more advanced in learning something. My advantage during the old school days, I never undergo pre-school education. I go straight to first grader and the youngest among my classmates. However, I was able to cope up despite the age difference. How about you, guys? Do you have the same experience?

Children often go to pre school now.
No I had never attended a pre school, but did attend Kindergarten at age 5.
Then on to the first grade.
My son went to the pre school and then kindergarten, and then on the first grade.
He was in some sort of schooling at age 2.

@TiarasOceanView It seems your son is a genius one.I never even had a guidance in doing homework from my parents. They are lucky for not having such extra work in helping us school projects. Since my siblings and I can do it by ourselves.

@TiarasOceanView Well, he is also started the same age with my niece. She had her pre-school at aged 2. The only difference among her classmates, she can speak English fluently. We are trying to teach how to speak our native tongue. My poor little niece cannot even sing our national anthem.

That's a cute clock! I went to kindergarten when I was 4 years old, and started first grade at 7. Nowadays some go to preschool at 2 or 3 years old. I guess besides it's more competitive, most parents also go to work, so instead of sending the young children to babysitters, some prefer to send them to preschool and learn something.

@hereandthere I agree the arms of the clock were not adjusted.
Let me fixed that, I took the picture after putting the arms of the clock.

I went to kindergarten but it was a private school and more of a way to socialize children than teach them to read and the like. We did learn colors and some simple numbers, probably our "A-B-C's." Then, because the children in my neighborhood were all about 6 months older than I was, my folks put me in a private first grade so that the following year I would be in the same grade as my playmates. They had put my brother in a private first as well, but he had to repeat second grade so I followed him a grade behind, even though I was 2 years younger. I graduated from high school at 17 to most of the rest of the classes 18 and from college at 21.

@Teep11 She is my dear friend. We are not pressuring her since she is still young. We let her enjoy the childhood years. I could see some parents are trying to let their children excelled in every subjects. Thus the children are starting to lose interest in school at a young age.
