According to an article, the duck is male Mandarin duck. In my country, I never seen it. Even, when I see it at the first sight, I think it is a bird. Do you know more about the duck? If yes, please you share here for me and all of readers who open this discussion. Thank you...

Wow that's indeed a beautiful duck. And I think the same as you. It looks more like a bird. Because the usual image of a duck for me has that "pouty" beak.

In my country, this kind of duck will be a pair, one male and one female. Due to it, in our culture it stands for love.

I don't know much about the species, but I'm familiar with them because one of my daughter's favorite stories is one called The Tale of the Mandarin Ducks. It's about a beautiful Mandarin duck who is captured by a lord and later freed by a servant who realizes that he needs to be free and return to his mate in the wild. It's a beautifully illustrated book, too.
