I was going through some of my pictures that I have saved in an email file and came across this picture of my husband. Another thing that happened while I was away from mylot.
My husband drives truck and usually works for a truck driving company or for a construction crew. He got laid off from one construction crew and was hired on by a subcontractor that worked for the site my husband was laid off from. Anyway, to make a long story short... he slipped and fell of the ladder of one of the trucks, got his foot caught and was dangling from the ladder with one leg like a rag doll!!
He was taken to the nearest ER and he had twisted and broke the bone that connects the knee to the leg!! He now has screws in his knee/leg!! Once after the surgery he had to do physical therapy. He did the PT for 2 years. The doctor who did the surgery said he would never be able to run again! He can run for about 100 yards!!
~Peace~

Yes, there was really no way around not having screws in, or otherwise he would have had to have had it amputated!!
I guess when a person has to have something like this, they manage, don't they?

Is he able to work again? That sounds very awful and painful.
