What do you do to de-stress?

Philippines

When I was still working and had a really stressful week, I either go to the salon for a massage or shop. Now that I am based at home, my de-stressing ways have changed. I would either bake or go out. How about you?

I exercise on weekdays after work, it helps me forget about the stressful day and relex my mind. On weekends, I love going for walks with my friends, we may go to parks or just for shopping and coffee!

I love your weekends! I also like going to parks when we were still in Dubai - they have huge parks over there! You can read it up on my blog to see That is one thing I can never do, exercise every day

@besweet oh yes they do! did you just visit as a tourist or did you work there? That is also what my husband tells me about exercise that i need to make it a habit. I think I was able to do so but then when it got too hot for me, I had to stop.

@funkeyguhl I have't been to a park in Dubai, but I remember they had amazing shopping malls! Exercising is hard at first but if you make it a habit, it works perfectly for releasing stress.

Now I choose to meditate. It helps to calm me down easily and feel positive as well. Mylotting is one of my ways to de-stress as well, that's why I am always working on my freelance projects and mylotting at the same time.

@funkeyguhl It can be quite difficult when it's too noisy. It'd be good to meditate in a quiet place. I actually couldn't meditate so well or easily before I attended a meditation class last year, I learned from the class, and it really helps. If you can find a good meditation class to learn at the beginning, it might be easier for you.

Meditation is something that I cannot do because our area is very busy. I don't have the ability to compartmentalise the sounds like others do. Mylotting is a good way to de-stress, I agree. Hahaha! That is a good combination! :)

@kaka I like to meditate to and I did it for years than stopped it for some reason. I tried it again a few months ago and fell into such a deep sleep. I had no idea where I was when I woke up.

I help this cute girl to kill zombies with a chainsaw. Nothing is as relaxing as seeing a cute perky cheerleader killing zombies with a chainsaw. Too bad she is only a videogame character so my love for her is not meant to be. I had been playing this game all day.
On Juliet Starling's eighteenth birthday, she goes to San Romero High School to meet her boyfriend, Nick. Unfortunately, a zombie outbreak occurs, which lead...

@funkeyguhl videogames with hotchicks as protagonist. You know if the protagonist is male, you will be seeing his butt for hours. So thats why I prefer female characters, I wont mind seeing her butt for hours.

You can listen to songs and go out. this helps many people. for example, those who spend time outdoor are more likely to de stress. go out often alone if possible.

Music is a great stress reliever that is correct! Hmm I do not like going out alone here, I am not certain in terms of security. Luckily, my husband keeps me company

@funkeyguhl I usually go on bike alone. I agree safety for women is issue all around the world. but if you have garden or zoo nearby then that can be a safe place too.

oh, I just play some computer games. But there was one time where I went back to the school I used to study and then went to the walls to reminiscing what I used to hang out back in college.
