Working on new project

I have been busy working on another web development project in the previous two months. I have almost completed the project, but now have to wait for the client's feedback, so I will put it on hold first. Now, I am working on another project. It's actually a small and simple project, it's membership management system. I am just thinking how I can make it more flexible, so I can sell the system to other clients as well. This is the good thing about programming - you can reuse it. So, once you have done something, you may be able to reuse it in the future. Hopefully I can finish this project by end of this week. What are you busy with this week? Picture was downloaded from pixabay. It'd be nice to put a flower plant next to the working computer.

Programming ...you are so good to be able to do this..how did you learn it Lee? I am busy this coming week with appointments for organizing some sort of help, care, medical for myself and also members of family. And cleaning, never ending cleaning.

It's from the course (Information Technology) I took in university. I started with Electrical Engineering, and after 1.5 years, I decided to change to IT because I was more interested in it. This is one of the good choices I have made, though it was not agreed by some people, as I seemed like wasting the time I have spent if I was to transfer to another course. I am glad I have made the decision, as I really enjoy doing programming more. Moreover, it allows me to stay at home and work, while taking care of my children. I don't think I can do that as an Electrical engineer if I was to continue the course. Hope you'll enjoy all the appointments and organizing work. Same here, I will need to do a lot of cleaning as well.

@kaka135 I am so glad you followed your own choices and not those of the condemning ones. Great good luck and blessing to you Lee! You are one smart lady. Okay thanks for telling me, I always wondered about it.

@TiarasOceanView Thanks for the compliment. I hardly relate myself to "smart lady". Yes, I am always grateful for making some big decisions on my own, and never regret about them.

Thanks. I can imagine how tiring (or inspiring?) to attend meetings. Some meetings are effective and motivating, but some are not. Hope yours are good ones! Hope you'll enjoy the fruits soon!

@kaka135 Thank you. Monday I had a business meeting from lunch time till dinner time. Went home past 10. Tuesday, had to harvest two checks from different offices and a meeting with a lawyer all afternoon. Wednesday, I plan to go to a skin spa for a much needed rest and beautification, but first, I have to do some office work hahaha.

I've been very busy these past few weeks and sometimes I cannot complete a project within the due date. I'm drowning in a sea of paper works and home projects. Being alone, I can't cope with it but I need to stay relaxed as to not to get too stressed. But no matter how busy I am, I still want to learn some things that seem interesting for me. Anyway, how's your web development project going?

It's good that you are learning not to get too stressed. I have been learning that throughout my career life as well. I have always been told, jobs will never end. When you have done one project, another will begin. So, we have to learn how to take it easy, but still work on it. My project doesn't go as well as I planned, hopefully I can complete it within this week. I am spending too much time with my online work. What kind of home projects are you working on? I suppose the paper works is related to your library work?

This is why it is good to be the programmer. Since you can easily find more work to do. And it is also professional and get paid well I hope everything will go well for you and your clients are satisfied with your work. Good luck!

I am assuming you went to school to learn programming? It sounds so complicated to me. I am glad you are successful with it though. Things are so crazy here right now I have no idea what will be going on this week. I'm just trying to stay calm as much as I can.

Yes, I learned programming while I was in university. I guess it really depends on interest and practice. When you love something, and keep practicing, you'll be good at it. Hope you'll be able to stay calm. I need that as well, hence I try to always meditate, it helps me.

That is a good idea. I think you have to market it well, so that you can use the same template over and over again.

I have six stores that sell my art and they are going to need stock soon so I am spending most of my days painting, I do take the time to go to the gym for some exercise and my husband is driving me today because the roads are terrible today, icy and covered in snow.

That's good. Though I know you are painting, I didn't know you have stores selling them. It's really good for you to work on what you love. Me too! Take good care while you are on the road, and be safe!
