P.S. You may be wondering.what is the image attached with the dicussion, well... here is the story.
Way back in college, we were required to take humanities--art appreciation. With the "idea" about art, i feel hesitant but i have to take the subject and it is summer.
Our professor is an artist. A dean in the college of fine arts
. So, i felt really hopeful of nothing much art work, more on "discussions".
Did the heavens heard my plea?
First day, was fine, just an introduction of him and us, his class and the subject matter, but...
Our first art homework has been told. Gulp!
We have to drawn or make a artistic piece of who we are, what we wanted to be. Explanations will be written too. Another gulp!
Me, having the artistic gift
, can not really draw aside from stickman.
What should i do?
Well, in an oslo paper, grab a lid of a jar for a circle pattern, colored the circle yellow and the background is black(same as the attached image).
I draw the moon and the night sky. As simple as that.
Next day, i felt relieved because i have something, but the confidence after seeing my classmates work, gone zero. Haha. Like, they are incomparable, like i wanted the earth to just eat me alive.
But, the eyes of our professor is quite different. He is really an artist
. Got a grade higher than those cartoon characters that my classmate did.
It is not how good our hand is those technicalities, it is how you put your heart into the "work".
He surely read my explanation.
to think it is quite.long.

I am commenting on my phone and all I can see is the orange blot. I wonder what this is?

@Lucky15 Now I am on net book, and what I see is... still that orange blot. Hmm! probably your instructor with the artistic eye sees more than that, maybe the sun in its setting time? hehehe!

He had seen something more than what can be seen by the average eye, and that made your artwork's rating higher than the others'. Nice!!!

you should be able to do art appreciation / aesthetics studies without having to create art yourself.

You had a good idea there. I would be lost if asked/required to draw anything.
